Vintage 1939 – 1940 New York World’s Fair map in good condition.
It details the zones of the Fair with attractions and a long listing of locations to visit. It’s a bird’s eye view of the World’s Fair grounds in Flushing, New York. Also included is another map of the rapid transit system of Greater New York. It also lists additional places of interest.
This map was an advertising premium handed out by F.W. Woolworth.
The cover features illustrations of the Fair’s Trylon and Perisphere along with images of the Woolworth Building and a Woolworth storefront. The brochure lists all of the store locations of New York in Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Richmond (Staten Island).
The map measures 11-1/16” x 16” and is in good condition.
